I Painted this rose from a large silk rose. It was a really large rose and had wired silk petals which I could bend in any shape I wished. I put it on the counter next to the sink in the RV under the window in Florida. We were preparing to leave our house in Florida and go on Georgia O.Keeffe's path. It would be five years later, that we landed in Organ that I was able to paint it.
